A simple Left, when that file name is highlighted [which it is by default in most apps when you activate Save As], puts cursor at beginning of file name. I often use Save As just to get the dialog box, because then a simple CMD-C copies the highlighted name, ready for pasting elsewhere [like, in a readme doc].
If it does not take you to the desired place, keep holding down the option key while pressing the right or left arrow key until you arrive at the desired place. Actually, the easiest way to do what the hint suggests in a filename with multiple words is to hold down ctrl and press the down arrow, and then the right arrow.

So the following script reflects the manual experience and seems to work now when I keep Activity Monitor open during the test to verify: I am looking for the error dialog as a "proof" that the process has been killed, hence the change of the content of the error message.
