Saffron patch lunch buffet price

As i am from hyderabad i had a craving for biryani so i ordered it. Wife was in the mood for Indian cuisine and having tried out other Indian restaurants around Cleveland, Saffron Patch was on our list.

Mapquest gave us the wrong directions yet again and when we called the restaurant to ask for directions, the lady at the reception was at a loss This lady was a lame duck at giving directions. All she managed to tell us that they were 5 miles south of I some direction, that!!

We called again after some searching and, God save us, the same lady answered. After 10 minutes, the good sense of calling someone else, prevailed on her and we managed to find our way to a big office building. If you call persian style carpets on the walls and on the floor a wonderful setting for an Indian restaurant These days they pass off anything as Indian Cuisine It makes you wish you could reach into your gut, grab the food and give it back saying In town on vacation, we tried out this Indian restaurant in an office building.

Buffet was small, but had lots of vegetarian choices. The food rivaled some of the best Indian food I've had. Service was also good for a buffet. I would definitely recommend trying out Saffron Patch for their buffet Of the places around Cleveland, this has been the most consistent of them all. The food is good and so is the variety. Food is good, but not as good as others, especially for the prices. No pappadums or rice with many dishes. Service was slow, and they are not prepared for special requests.

We walked in once when the sign said Open, but couldn't find anyone to seat us, and no one else was there, so we left. Hard to find the entrance and parking. Advertise with Us. Saved to Favorites. Appetizers Assorted Platter. Papadum, samosa, vegetable pakodas, seekh kabob, and rashmi kabob. Served with our homemade chutneys.

Shrimp Tikka. Marinated in a tomato and yogurt sauce with a kick of spice. Picnic Balls. Seasoned potato balls with mustard seeds and cilantro.

Biryani's Maharaja Biryani. Large seasoned rice dishes with a mixture of vegetables and your choice of meats and seafood. Finished with almonds and raisins. Served with a side of cucumber raita. Chicken Mango Chicken. Karahi Chicken. Chicken Makhami. The interior was nice, and the staff was friendly but wearing a LOT of cologne.

My group of four were the only customers in the restaurant and lunch took well over an hour, so maybe not the best place for a quicker lunch. November I have been a Saffron Patch patron for nearly 15 years, going back to their old location. But recently the quality has declined. With my latest takeout order, the chicken in my chicken tikka masala was dry and tough, not tender.

Worse, the green chutney looked like it was days old. Rather than bright green, it was a brownish green. And strangely, my rice came in a Chapati Indian Grill container. Newest Slideshows. Special Issues Flavor. The People Issue. Summer Guide. Best of Cleveland. Friends GreenLab Become a Friend.

My husband then had the chicken tikka masala and I had chicken with saffron mulghai sauce. We had saffron rice and garlic naan bread to accompany it.

Truly, everything was perfect Saffron is our go-to place for Indian food in town! The taste, portions, and price are great. We've ordered takeout several times, and I've had their catering at work.

Our favorites are the chicken tikka masala, aloo matar gobhi, vegetable pakoras, and garlic naan. So flavorful, delicious, and filling! I'd been to Saffron Indian Bistro a couple times years ago, but then for some time lived too far from it for it to be on my radar most of the time. It's back in my orbit now, though, and I am SO glad! Saffron is a wonderful Indian option in town, and literally everything on their menu is a delight I love this place. Hadn't been here in ages and stopped by for lunch on the patio.

The patio was spacious and comfortable.
