Total care advisor reinstall
Hey Ken, Yes, that will work, but then you will probably be giving up Pivot capability! But if you can live without it then so much the better! Darren G22 Thread Starter. Joined Feb 18, Messages 9. I had the hp total care advisor on my laptop - which was acting a bit weird.
Read various forums on the net and most people advised removing it, which I have now done. My wife is not happy about this, is there a way of re-installing it at all. I know hp don't have it to download, is there a way of getting it 'back' from the 'deleted area'?

I would NOT recommend that you re-install this.. I was thinking your computer was newer than a year But I see you say it's a year old now. I'm thinking that the HP Total care might be beneficial in the first few months of a computers life But after that..
Any serious problems would have been fixed. At this point.. I would switch to the philosophy.. If it ain't broke The last time I did a DVD burner update.. HP had to send me a new burner. It wasn't broke.. Till I fixed it. I still think you don't need it Nice One Noyb, will leave it off and not worry about it.
All is cool without it anyway. Thanx 4 all your help with this. How can I turn them off? H ow do you show that you care? H ow many plants do you care for? H ow do you burn mp4 movies using windows dvd maker on a hp pavilion an? H P dvd n. I have a firmware update and I've downloaded the update from the HP website but when I try to open and use the update I have a prompt that tells me the that the program did not find any HP supported drivers.
What do I do now? I can't read dvds. H ow do you delete or reset the Content Advisor password on Windows Vista?
